Birthday Pup-Cakes

I wish I could remember where I got this recipe. Somewhere online.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 T. baking powder
1 ripe banana, smushed
1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 T. maple syrup
1 cup water
1/2 c. pureed pumpkin, for icing

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a cupcake tin with coconut oil. This makes 6 pup-cakes.

In a small bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the applesauce, banana and syrup. While the mixer is running, alternate adding the water and flour mixture. Do this until everything is combined.

Pour the batter into the six muffin ting. Bake for about 25 minutes. Inset a toothpick to make sure that is comes out clean.

Ones the pup-cakes cool, place the pumpkin puree into a piping bag and decorate your pup-cakes. You can top them with candles or dog biscuits.

Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Recipe from HERE.

Ingredients:

2 cups white rice flour
1 cup wheat germ
7.5 oz can pumpkin
½ cup water
½ tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp peanut butter

Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine.
2. Roll out dough on floured surface to about ¼-inch thick. Using a cookie cutter, cut into bone shapes. Combine dough scraps and continue to roll out and cut into shapes until all the dough has been used.
3. Place cookies on ungreased foil-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated 325 oven for 30-35 minutes.
