Janae's mom brought me this before Christmas and I've been dying for some every since. This week Janae brought some along with the recipe! YEAH!!!
You will need:
Hot Air Popper
Big roasting "turkey" pan
Ingredients:
15 cups popped corn (about 1 cup un-popped)
1 stick butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup Karo light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda (don't put in until the end)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Pop popcorn and put in roasting pan.
In a medium-sized heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. When mixture turns bubbly, cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove the pan from heat and stir in baking soda and mix thoroughly. Careful...the mixture is extremely hot! Pour the mixture over the popped corn and stir to coat evenly.
Place popcorn in oven and cook for 1 hour, mixing every 15 minutes until evenly coated.
